This is my first Friesian, and I am actually very satisfied with him. 
It first, I shied away from the blackness of the coat ("Aw, I'll have to get into my dark tones so much..."), but I found that Friesians have this incredible high gloss that is just so much fun to draw. What do you think - good first effort?

OMG you are so good. I have tried to draw horses and it takes me so long to actually draw one horse really good.
